Project ZaCjel's team enriched by five young experts

Four junior researchers and a project administrator have been introduced to the project team
Four junior researchers have been employed for the realization of research activities of the ZaCjel project. At the FSB two junior researchers are working on research in the field of numerical modeling. Krešimir Jukić, MSc, is enrolled in doctoral studies and his doctorate will grow from the activities of the project ZaCjel under the mentorship of proffesor Zdenko Tonković, PhD. With his doctorate and knowledge, Karlo Seleš, PhD, contributed to the development of a new methodology for the protection of the integrity of dynamically loaded structures. As Karlo continued his career in the industry sector, Jurica Rožić, MSc will be employed as a junior researcher on the project from September 2021.
Marina Plovanić, MSc, joined the team of professor Ivica Kožar, PhD, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka as an assistant. Professor Kožar is Marina's mentor during her doctoral studies.
Ivan Grabić, MSc, has been employed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, since January 2021. Under the mentorship of professor Mario Vašak, PhD, Ivan participates in the development of an upgrade of the dynamic system management system with construction elements in order to preserve the permitted operating modes, and work on a doctorate in parallel.
As the project administrator, Tihana Damić, LLM, takes care that everything goes smoothly. In addition to project administration, Tihana coordinates activities related to IPR protection of project results. Also, in order for all new employees to remain part of this well-established research team even after the end of the ZaCjel project, the team will actively look for new project opportunities to continue working on some new projects.
